Fred Gallo, Ph.D.

Dr. Fred Gallo is world renowned as the founder of EDxTM. He is a Clinical Psychologist and one of the leading developers in the field of Energy Psychology. He has authored 6 books on Energy Psychology and he first coined the term “Energy Psychology” in the 1980s. He has been a practicing clinical psychologist since 1977, and has worked in the areas of corrections, mental retardation, child welfare, vocational rehabilitation and chemical dependency. He has taught at Pennsylvania State University and has been on staff at
hospitals near his private practice in Hermitage, Pennsylvania since 1980. He is a member of the American Psychological Association and the Pennsylvania Psychological Association. Healing the Light Body School

During an expedition to the Andes more than 25 years ago, psychologist and medical anthropologist Dr. Alberto Villoldo discovered an isolated group of healers who could cure illness before any symptoms appeared in the body. They did this not by treating the physical body itself, but the ‘luminous energy field’ that envelops the body and holds a template of how we heal, how we become ill, and how we might die. By erasing the ‘imprints’ engraved upon the luminous energy by genes, traumatic past events or illnesses, the shaman was able to restore body, mind and spirit to health.

Healing the Light Body

A professional training program, the Healing the Light Body School is a two-year journey leading to certification in luminous healing and energy medicine. The program teaches mastery in the healing arts, creates a space for personal healing, and promotes high ethics and integrity in our healing practices. The tools the student learns at the Healing The Light Body School bring balance to the body, to the soul, and to the earth.

You will learn the mystery teachings (the work of the Medicine Wheel), the Illumination Process, The Extraction Process, Soul Retrieval, and the Great Rites, ceremonies that assist in one's life passage. This is an intensive program, meeting twice a year for two years, with a requirement to attend three additional Masters Courses for certification: Walking with Protection in the World, Reading the Signs of Destiny, and Working with the Sacred. A two-week Peru expedition may be substituted for either Reading the Signs of Destiny or Working with the Sacred.
 

Alberto Villoldo, Ph.D.
Medical Anthropologist

Alberto Villoldo, Ph.D. founder of The Four Winds Society, trained as a psychologist  and medical anthropologist , and has investigated the traditions of the Andes and Amazon for more than 25 years. He has developed a body of shamanic knowledge
 that is readily accessible to the West, and which provides us with a framework through which we can learn the ancient healing practices which can be "known
but now told". His book, Shaman, Healer, Sage, was selected as book of the month
by One Spirit Book Club. His most recent book, to be released in 2005, is on Soul
Retrieval. Other books include, Dance of the Four Winds, Secrets of the Inca Medicine Wheel, and Island of the Sun.

"Throughout his investigations, Villoldo (Alberto Villoldo Ph.D., an author and medical anthropologist) made contact with native priests in a community called Q’ero, high in
the central Andes. Known as pacos, these holy men believe themselves to be descendants of Inka who fled to this place at the time of the Spanish conquest. From their lofty sanctuary, generation after generation of pacos are said to have preserved the essential cosmology of the Inka. The Inka were great prophesiers. According to Villoldo, the Pacos have shared … a prophecy that foresaw the end of this period of darkness, when a new era known as Pachacuti would be heralded."

First Session - Illumination

The Illumination process clears the energy loops that predispose us to malignant physical and emotional conditions, erases imprints of disease in the Luminous Energy Field, and brings about healing at the blueprint level of our being. You begin the mystery teachings with The Serpent Path of the South, and start transforming your wounds into sources of power and compassion.

Second Session - Extraction

In this training we discover how energies such as fear, envy, and anger can penetrate the Luminous Energy Field. You learn how to extract both crystallized energies and intrusive energies and entities, changing your affinities for toxic persons and situations. The Jaguar Path of the West is the way of the peaceful warrior, where we learn to step beyond fear and violence.

Third Session - Soul Retrieval

Soul Retrieval leads us on a journey back to the Essential Self. It can accomplish
in a few sessions what can sometimes take years to work through in psychotherapy. In the Hummingbird Path of the North we learn the mystery teachings that can be "known but not told."

Fourth Session - Great Rites

We learn how to assist a loved one on their final journey and personally discover
the maps of the afterlife described by the great spiritual traditions of the world. The Eagle Path of the East is the way of the visionary. In the East you learn to "dream the world into being", and discover how energy and vision create form and manifestation.

Raising Healthy Children (3 hours)

Incorporating research, theory and techniques from Psychology with the philosophy of Buddhism, this workshop will address how to raise emotionally balanced and happy children from the womb to adulthood.

A child’s personality is formed by the age of 3, and he or she is already receiving messages from you before they are even born. A child’s sense of self and the decisions they make about themselves are crucial to their healthy development.
All of this begins from the moment they are conceived and is crucial during their first few years. Getting off to a good start is much easier and healthier than trying to correct poor behaviour, negative core beliefs and bad habits later on.

This workshop is designed for parents who are planning to have children, are expecting a child, have a new born baby, or a child under the age of 3.
